Please read…

Well, this news was not the welcome home present I wanted…just back from the UK, I discovered this afternoon that some unscrupulous online ‘shops’ are creating & selling pirated paperbacks of my novels. This revelation is in addition to the battle I’ve been waging for the past year against counterfeit ebook copies. Kirkwall Books, as the ONLY legal publisher of my work, advises all readers to only purchase authorized editions of London Belongs to Me and London, Can You Wait? through verified sellers such as Amazon, Kindle, Indigo, Barnes & Noble, Waterstones, and Book Depository.

Both of my books (including the cover artwork) are covered by international copyright, so that means that no part of my books may be reproduced, scanned, or distributed in ANY printed or electronic form without Kirkwall’s or my permission FIRST. These sellers DO NOT have our permission!

Please do not participate in or encourage piracy of copyrighted materials in violation of the my rights as the author. If you do purchase books from these sellers, you are stealing and prohibiting me from making a living, as well as obtaining a sub-par and often incomplete product that cheats YOU, the reader, of the books as they were intended. You’re also breaking international copyright law. Nice, eh? So please do the right thing—only purchase from authorized sellers. Theft and piracy hurts me AND you. The only person it benefits? The criminal.
